New Orleans Style Paint your Own Ornament

Paint Your Own Mr. Bingle Ornament Kit — Pre-Order

Bring home a little piece of New Orleans Christmas magic, and make it your own.

Every New Orleanian knows Mr. Bingle. For generations, he’s been part of how this city celebrates the holidays. Now you can paint him yourself with this hand-cast plaster ornament kit from Pappion Artistry.

Each ornament is about 4 inches tall and cast by hand in my New Orleans studio, so no two are exactly alike. Your kit comes ready to go with everything you need:

• One hand-cast plaster Mr. Bingle ornament with a gold cord already attached for hanging

• Six paint pots: red, green, blue, yellow, orange, and white

• A paintbrush

• Everything packaged in a clear gift bag, ready to give or open right away

Paint it, let it dry, and it’s ready for the tree. No extra supplies needed.

It’s perfect for a cozy night in, a family tradition with the kids, a stocking stuffer, a classroom or party activity, or a gift for the New Orleanian who lives somewhere else now and misses home every December.

Pre-orders open November 1. Kits are made in small batches, so quantities are limited. Pre-order now to save yours. Kits ship/are ready for ship out November 5th.

Because each ornament is handmade, slight variations in texture and shape are part of its charm. Paint and small parts are not recommended for children under 3 without adult supervision.
